Tristar engineering offers industrial basket type inline strainers. These are rugged in construction and highly praised for their efficient filtration. These are useful for industrial applications for filtration of suspended particles from fuel oils like petrol, diesel, atf, lube oil, viscous liquids like hfo, lshs, edible oils, process water, etc. It has compact design, due to which it can be directly mounted like a valve on the pipeline. The gross filtration area offered is 25 times more than the inlet cross sectional area, thus results in negligible pressure drop. Hence reduces cleaning frequency and longer duration time. These strainer are available in sizes from 25 nb to 500 nb. Filtration micron rating offered up to 25 microns. Swing bolt type arrangement is offered for quick and easy removal and fitting of elements. Davit arm arrangement is given for strainers above, 200 nb size. Accessories like vent and drain valves are provided. Steam jacketing, electrical heat tracing, electrical clogging indicators, etc. Are also included as an option. Generally the strainers come in simplex and duplex type with on-line and off-line arrangement, conical strainers, reverse flow, etc.
